Welcome to Budget Babes Social Club (BBSC) - we’re so glad you’re here! This agreement is meant to help us all stay on the same page, build a safe and welcoming space, and ensure that every Glow Getter (that’s you!) feels seen, valued, and empowered to show up as they are.

By becoming a member of BBSC, you agree to the following:

1) Community Commitment

We are a collective of women and nonbinary folks seeking connection, joy, and real friendships without breaking the bank. That means:

• Kindness is Key. Treat all members with respect, empathy, and an open mind. Every voice matters here.

• Everyone is welcome. BBSC is an inclusive space for people of all races, backgrounds, sexualities, gender identities, sizes, and abilities. Hate speech, discrimination, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated.

• No mean girl energy. Gossip, cliques, or judgmental behavior have no place in our community. We lift each other up.

2) Member Conduct

To keep BBSC running smoothly and positively, we ask that members:

• Show up for each other. RSVP responsibly and check-in always - your presence matters!

• Communicate with kindness and clarity, especially in digital spaces like Slack or Instagram

• Respect personal boundaries and the privacy of fellow members

• Use designated channels (e.g. #shameless-plugs) for self-promotion - keep the focus on connection, not selling

3) Events & Participation

We host events to bring the BBSC magic to life! As a member, we ask that you:

• Only RSVP to events you intend to attend. No-shows without cancellation impact our planning and community vibe.

• Check-In. When you arrive at events - it helps us track engagement and reward you for participating!

• Be mindful of others’ comfort levels, especially during IRL activities

• Respect venues and hosts (some are generous enough to offer space, discounts, or freebies!)

4) Leadership & Involvement

BBSC thrives because of members who care deeply and want to give back. If you choose to get involved Behind the Scenes (yay!), we ask that you:

• Collaborate with your team and uphold BBSC’s mission in all planning and communications

• Follow through on commitments and communicate if you need support

• Remember: Leadership and Operations is a responsibility and a privilege - we’re here to support one another!

5) Social Media & Photos

We love capturing BBSC memories! That said:

• By attending events, you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed for promotional use (unless you opt our - just let your host or a member of Leadership and Ops know!)

• Testimonials or quotes may be shared to help spread the BBSC love - always with car and credit where due

6) Membership Terms

• BBSC currently offers free membership

• Inactivity may result in removal from Slack or event access after an extended period (we want active, engaged babes!)

• BBSC Leadership reserves the right to remove any member who violates this agreement or in any way harms the community

7) Accountability & Grace

We’re all human. Mistakes happen. We’re not here to cancel people - we’re here to communicate, learn, and grow together. If something ever feels off, speak up or reach out to BBSC Leadership. We promise to listen and handle all concerns with care, compassion, and confidentiality.

8) Agreement

By filling out the membership form and checking the applicable box at the end, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to the expectations of being a BBSC member. You’re not just joining a social club - you’re joining a community.
